Sheffield Community Transport now operates a number of local bus services across the city. Our aim is to provide a first class service for all our passengers whether it is on very local services or longer services which connects people to various key parts of the city.
In all SCT operates 10 bus routes across Sheffield. The majority of our vehicles are low-floor, fully accessible Optare Solos. We believe that ease of access for all passengers is crucial to ensuring a comfortable and safe journey.
Impressive bus service - I am writing to you to let you know that I have recently been very impressed by the service of the P1 and P2 buses around my local district - read the letter published in the Sheffield Star.

New S6A service
From 26th January 2009, the new S6A Hillsborough-Loxley service starts, running every half hour with a standard £1 adult single fare (all concessions apply). |
Crosslink Continues
The highly successful Crosslink service operating in the Parson Cross area will now continue to operate for at least another 18 months. This service carries an average of 2,500 passengers every week and has become a real part of local life in the area.
All local bus services operated by SCT use new low-floor vehicles which are accessible for passengers travelling in wheelchairs. We feel very strongly that accessibility is key to promoting public transport and our vehicles are proving this.
