Sheffield Community Transport (SCT) is a non-governmental organisation with charitable status. We have been providing a range of transport related services to the people of Sheffield (South Yorkshire, U.K.) since 1988. Our aspiration is to play a key role in creating a truly inclusive environment in our city where everyone, residents and visitors alike, can participate in all the many activities and facilities available now and in the future. In order to do this we believe it is vital to involve people in our work and to this end we actively promote a friendly, professional culture where ideas and innovation are positively welcomed. We receive funding from a range of sources including South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE), Sheffield City Council, South Yorkshire Objective 1 programme the UK government's Urban and Rural Bus Challenges and others. If you have any comments to make about this site we would be pleased to hear them. Similarly if you would like further information about any aspect of Sheffield Community Transport we would be happy to assist. During 2004 SYPTE carried out a passenger satisfaction survey. The results of this survey can be downloaded by clicking on the link below. Ian Jenkinson 2006 SYPTE Survey |
