Can I use the City Ride service for my hospital appointments? Can I travel in my mobility scooter? How many trips can I make in a week? Can I carry oxygen with me? Do the drivers come to the door? Yes, our drivers can assist passenger from their door to the vehicle but are not permitted to enter passengers’ homes. Can I travel in my wheelchair? Yes, our vehicles can accommodate up to two wheelchairs and have the right equipment to secure your wheelchair and you safely when travelling. Can someone travel with me? Yes, you may travel with a companion who will pay the same fare. Can I use the City Ride service for my hospital appointments?  Due to the uncertainty about how long your appointment may take, City Ride is not suitable for such appointments. Can I travel in my mobility scooter? The minibuses can carry some scooters.  Please let our staff know the make and model and they will be able to advise. How many trips can I make in a week? Due to the high demand for our services all trips are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.   Can I carry oxygen with me? Yes, so long as the equipment can be stored safely in transit.
